Where Little Knits Become Big Memories

Hello I am Rachel, the creator of Evie and Co. I first taught myself to crochet when I was expecting my son, just over 10 years ago. At the time, I wanted to create a handmade toy that he could love and play with but would also hold huge sentimental value. I wanted something that he could keep and say, "My mummy made that for me". You see, I am a sentimental soul and I knew that everything about having him would spark that even more within me.

Having learnt to knit when I was younger (very basic knitting skills I might add), I thought it would be easy to learn, but wow did crocheting test me. I persevered through many dropped stitches and shabby finishes and eventually began to master my craft. From that moment on, I was obsessed and made many toys and gifts to build my collection.

Since I launched Evie and Co, I focused on expanding my range and developing collections that align with the original handmade personalised aesthetic I align with.   My aim is simple. I want to create treasured pieces that last beyond the childhood years. Items that can evoke memories or be passed on to future generations. I want to make quality items that aren't meant to be discarded quickly. In fact, I hope that their value is so precious, you couldn't bare to part with it, as the stitches are memory marks of special times that sadly don't last forever.

Evie and Co now specialises in crafting personalised children's decor and heirloom knitwear. Every piece is lovingly and slowly sttiched by hand and designed to capture the magic of childhood, well beyond those little years.
